Blogging My Drama Addiction

Carson - Jessica - Alfred Relationship Dynamic
- Two close brothers fall for the same girl… TYPICAL!
- But this story is a lot more complicated!
- Jessica & Alfred believes Carson has died, Alfred takes this chance to pursue Jessica & she doesn’t stop it
- Jessica was fully aware of his crush on her, but she doesn’t really do anything & continues on having a “weird” type of relationship with Alfred
- I understand Jessica was in a vulnerable & confused stage with her grieving over Carson’s supposed death, but I still found it wrong no matter what she was thinking at the time
- Alfred is completely wrong on all levels! I don’t care if he thought his brother was dead.. You don’t move on to his girlfriend that quickly! He didn’t grieve over his brother for that long either, so much for a strong bond they had
- What makes it worse is that he copies his brothers own tricks to make Jessica fall for him
- Once Carson comes back it gets even more awkward… With finally Jessica setting him straight that she loves his brother, but you know she technically led him on so…
- Alfred & Jessica tries to pretend nothing happened
- Alfred has a strange attitude now though… He didn’t seem all that happy once he got news of his brother being alive!
- When Carson was being accused he didn’t stand by him, before he would take his side no matter what!
- Jessica is annoying as she said she did nothing “bad” with his brother, yet she did not mention that she let Alfred kiss her head & continued on dancing intimately with her…
- Of course telling Carson the details of her ambiguous relationship with Alfred, wouldn’t be a good idea but I still believe she shouldn’t have said they didn’t do anything wrong
- The relationship between the three of them are all over the place, since Carson found out about what happened while he was gone
- It’s a pity that the close bond between Carson & Alfred is gone, with a part of it being caused by Jessica

Heung Kwong Nam & Sing Fa Lui (Jennifer)

Bounty Lady was such a refreshing drama, & of course the best part of it was this ADORABLE couple!

They both start off as a bickering couple, but once they start to learn things about one another, it develops into more.

Heung Kwong Nam cares deeply about his friends the most, & a huge playboy! He comes off as a sleazy man, who could never get tied down. He works hard to help women find their deserving match! Helping them find love & teaching them it’s the heart that counts.

Jennifer’s ultimate goal was to marry a rich & handsome man. In the beginning the most important thing for her was to work hard to get promoted. Little by little, she begins to connect with her customers. Because of this her view in life changes & helps others to find love.

Somehow they found their ways to each other’s heart! They care for one another deeply. Jennifer’s sincerity touched him, while his helpfulness touched hers. It was not easy for them to get together, they went through a lot of obstacles! With Jennifer & Kwong Nam in denial whether they liked each other or not. But nonetheless, they loved each other for who they are & nothing could ever change that.

TVB Anniversary Awards Winners 2013

Best Actor in a Leading Role: Dayo Wong - Bounty Lady

  • Did not see that coming, but did not mind he is an amazing actor

Best Actress in a Leading Role: Kristal Tin - Brother’s Keeper

  • This was pretty satisfying! We all knew it was her or Linda, but I am happy with her winning!

Best Series: Triumph in the Skies II

  • Would’ve preferred Inbound Troubles to win, as this drama ended up turning really draggy.

Best Actor in a Supporting Role: Benz Hui - Bounty Lady

  • I am so proud! He deserved this award, wouldn’t mind if Him Law won it too.

Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Elena Kong - Triumph in the Skies II

  • Her role as Heather was very boring, wished she had won for Bounty Lady, but still I’m good with this result.

My Favorite TV Male Character: Jayden Koo Ha Yeung (Chilam Cheung) - Triumph in the Skies II

  • Chilam was so smooth portraying Jayden! Definitely a fan favourite!

My Favorite TV Female Character: Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin) - Brother’s Keeper

  • Would’ve preferred either Kate Tsui’s Jennifer role or Tavia Yeung’s Yu Jai winning the award but it’s okay!

Most Improved Actor: Vincent Wong

  • So happy with this result! Vincent definitely was more deserving of this award!

Most Improved Actress: Eliza Sam

  • Not surprised I knew it was either her or Priscilla, but I’m glad she won over her!
I am surprised by the fast progress of Holiday and Jayden’s relationship.
Jayden has always been flirty with Holiday, but it never seemed anything more.
Holiday is usually friendly with Jayden, but she never looked at him more than that.
Then suddenly after Jayden unlocks her bracelet they realized that they like each other?
I found that part sweet, and cute to start their relationship with, but still sudden.
I think they should’ve thrown hints around to show they had a liking for each other earlier, instead of the flirty scenes.
I know Jayden and Holiday would eventually date, but I thought they would develop more into their relationship, before they get to that step.
I don’t know, it felt rushed. I’m still looking forward to there scenes though.

Awfully Lawful Ending Thoughts
- Solo finally confesses his love to Kay, Lady Lauren stops all charges placed against her and decides to let her have custody of Felix. Kay and Solo end up together.
- Fish moves to Paris to start a business there, Elsa finally agrees to leave behind her life in Hong Kong and gives birth to her child in Paris along with Fish.
- Jazz is able to overcome his fear and is able to stand back on stage again as a singer/ songwriter, thanks to Honey who helped him create a sweet/sad love song, and they end up getting married.
- Ming Sir decides to go through with surgery after his wife Tina falls into a coma. Ming Sir is unable to convert back into his old self, he finds that this is his true personality and Tina who woke up is fine with it. They chose not to divorce and are happily married.

Unanswered Questions
- Did Felix ever find out that Kay is her real mother and not Tina?
- Will Tina really be okay in a long run with the fact that Ming Sir can no longer be his old self?
- Elsa and Honey had hated each other since high school. When did they become such good friends, that she was willing to help her with Jazz?

This is a pretty lighthearted drama, with a happy ending. This drama is really bold! They had sex/condom references & jokes, revealing clothes, and artistic “naked” pictures of the leads. They didn’t really talk too much about lawyers though the setting is in a Law Firm. It is mainly a story about 4 best friends, who will always remain good friends through ups & downs.

(1/??) No Regrets

A beautiful love story.

Azdrama

So upset this website isn’t updating regularly anymore. I think it’s cause TVB might’ve found out about the website and is attempting to take it down. Which shows why .com doesn’t work but .info does! There is an alternative site that is Tvbdo, but there’s waaaay to much popup ads! Which I would be sorta okay with if it wasn’t for the “porn” ads it shows up. I’ll just patiently wait till Azdrama is back up and running smoothly again. Azdrama admin I’ll always support you :)
